What this site is

My School Menu republishes school breakfast and lunch menus that school districts have already made public, one page per school. It is an independent site. It is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with any school district, school, or the menu platforms it reads from (SchoolCafé, Nutrislice, MealViewer, LINQ Connect, School Nutrition & Fitness, Health-e Pro, Apptegy, eTrition, MenuLogic K-12, Gaia K12). Those names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to say where a menu came from. How it works describes exactly how menus are fetched and refreshed.

Accuracy

Menus are shown as the district published them at the time of the last refresh. Districts change menus without notice and cafeterias make substitutions on the day. Nutrition figures and allergen flags appear only where the district publishes them and are copied without checking. The site makes no promise that any menu, figure or flag is current, complete or correct.

Do not rely on this site for allergy or medical decisions. Confirm ingredients with the school's nutrition office before a meal.

Use of the site

You may read the pages, download PDFs, subscribe to the calendar feed and sign up for menu emails for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• send requests at a rate that interferes with the site for others, or bypass the rate limits on the sign-up form;
• use the sign-up form to subscribe an address that is not yours;
• republish the site's pages as a whole or present its content as your own;
• remove or alter the source credits that name the district and platform a menu came from.

The /api endpoints exist to serve this site's own pages. They are not a public API, may change or disappear without notice, and are not licensed for use by other services.

Content and copyright

The menus themselves are factual information published by public school districts and remain theirs. School and district logos remain the property of the schools and districts and are shown only to identify a school's page. The site's own text, design, abbreviation guides and code are © My School Menu.

A district, school or platform that wants content removed or changed should use the contact address in the footer with the page address concerned. Requests from a district about its own schools are acted on without argument.

Emails and feeds

Menu emails are sent only to addresses that have confirmed the first message, and every email carries an unsubscribe link. The site may stop sending, or end the email and calendar features altogether, at any time. See the privacy policy for what is stored.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, My School Menu is not liable for any loss or harm arising from use of the site or reliance on anything on it, including a menu that turned out to be wrong, a feature that was unavailable, or an email that did not arrive.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the changed terms.
